openin.app vs OpenLinkInApp
By Ish, founder, openin.app · Checked September 7, 2026
OpenLinkInApp is exactly what its name says: paste a URL, get a link that opens the app, no account, free, with a "support server costs" button. It covers a long list of apps, including Amazon, Flipkart, Telegram and WhatsApp.
It is a good tool for a one-off link. Where it and openin.app part ways is everything that happens after you share it: because there is no account, there is no place to see how the link did, and no page to put several links on.

Questions people ask
- Is OpenLinkInApp free?
- Yes, entirely, with a donation button. There is no account and no paid plan.
- Why would I use openin.app instead?
- If you want to know how many people tapped, want a bio page holding several links, or want a link name you chose. If you only need one link once, OpenLinkInApp is fine.
- Can I paste an OpenLinkInApp link into openin.app?
- Paste the original destination instead — the YouTube or Instagram link itself. Wrapping one redirect in another slows your viewer down for no benefit.
